Pushing Limits: Tony's Personal Challenge

For Tony Sanguinetti, innovation doesn’t stop in the lab, it continues in the water, on the road, and in every challenge he takes on.

Every year, Tony tests his own limits through sport, most notably by participating in the Traversata dello Stretto di Messina, a legendary 3.5 km swim crossing the Strait of Messina between Sicily and Calabria. With unpredictable currents and open-sea conditions, this swim demands not only physical preparation but extraordinary mental resilience.

In August of last year, Tony reached a personal best, completing the crossing in 55 minutes during the 60th edition of the event. His ambition? To do even better this year.
